Siljansnäs airfield and the aeroclub is reknowned for its friendly atmosphere. The annual Fly-in “Kräftstjärtsvängen” (second Saturday in August), one of the largest in Scandinavia. There is a tradition of both glider and powered aircrafts with many amateur-built experimental and ultralight aircrafts. This is Northern Europes largest airpark. The club house has a kitchen, sauna, shower and wifi. You can also hire over-night cottages.
