Flight plans are mandatory because of the sea crossing. Don't forget to phone to close it if there is nobody in the tower.. No fuel. Taxi and other useful numbers are on the door of the tower if it happens to be deserted. The island is well worth exploring. It's a popular holiday destination with the French so there are plenty of hotels and restaurants and you can hire bicycles if requested the day before. In high summer it gets busy so make sure you have somewhere to stay.
