Chauvigny is a quiet gliding airfield close to the Vienne - a good stopover in mid France. Fuel is usually available and the place always appears to be friendly. It's a 25 minute easy walk down to the town with restaurants and hotels but quite steep uphill on the way back. Fuel payable with cash
